Hi All,

Is it possible to receive IP data using a TV (or satellite) tuner card in Windows XP? Do I need to create any special network interface (Winsock connection) for this?
Does the Microsoft TV/Video Connection interface play any role in this?

I have a PCI express satellite tuner card that receives audio/video perfectly. I am trying to get IP data over the same connection and try to see the data using a sniffer software like Wireshark. Unfortunately, I only see some UDP multicast checksum error packets and no data stream.

Would greatly appreciate any advice on necessary steps/concrete solution/pointers to related solved problems.

Thanks in advance.
