FYI
Anyone seen a code 38 device problem?
TinyTwin BDA driver Version = 7.7.4.1 Vista Signed (last updated 4/4/08)
Please note that this driver seems to cause a conflict with my pioneer optical drive under vista sp1.
If you unplug the optical drive and plug it back in, you get the following device error
“Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)” on the optical drive.
If you uninstall the tinytwin drivers, the problem goes away. Reinstall the tinytwin drivers and the problem comes back.....
Note the system all works fine on cold boot. It only happens after unplug and replug of optical drive, including if you use safely remove hardware first.
