Hi all (hopefully this is the right group to post)
I am having recording problems associated with my Twinhan BDA drivers (based on my best guess). In short I use a BDA based PVR software package (GB-PVR) which always worked fine for me, however as I've upgraded to a new dual-core PC I'm having the following problems:
a) with the few older versions of the twinhan BDA drivers I have => choppy video on live tv and recorded tv
b) with the latest driver => have an issue whereby for Channel 9 (seems to be only channel 9 so far) the recording will stop prior to completing the recording, however the BDA driver doesn't seem to report this back to the recording software so it just assumes the recording is ongoing thereby not only (i) not recordign the show correctly but also (ii) not allowing the recording software to start a 2nd recording which is coming up.
For full details/background (e.g. tuner card, BDA driver versions I've tried) refer to: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.php?t=18473
My questions are:
[1] Is there a way to get other BDA drivers which I could try? (Twinhan or otherwise)
[2] Is there a rudimentary piece of software that uses BDA that I could use to try to emulate the problem? (i.e. request to start recording & request to stop - i.e. see if I can replicate the problem on Channel 9 but not on other channels)
[3] Any other ideas/advice on how I can rectify this problem?
Thanks in advance
