Spectrum,

I have noticed I am getting one or two BSOD in Windows XP with the BDA drivers, this happens when an app locks up, if you kill it off you get the following message in the BSOD.

"PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES"

Found the following page:
http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBF/Tip2500/rh2566.htm

from the above page:
"an unknown driver is not completely cleaning up after an I/O operation"

Just thought I would post this here to see if anyone else is seeing it.

I have turned on the TrackLockedPages option in the registry so will post some info when it crashes again.

I don't get this, but when i run digitalwatch(bda version) it crashes and it can't be killed at all. so i have to reboot. not sure it's it's the digitalwatch code or not

Yup, I have also had several BSOD or straight crashes to POST a day, with the SpectrumBDA drivers enabled. They seem to occur 5 ~ 10mins after I stop an application that was using them. So the report on cleanup makes sense to me. It's somewhat random, sometimes I can cycle up and down several times before it happens. As far as I can remember they have NOT happened whilst I have a card aqquired and tuned in ~

Aw crap. I haven't had this myself. Is this Win2K or XP or both?

Where is the BDA version of DW?

I've been out of town for a while - have you posted it somewhere I haven't read? Can you post it here for others to test the BDA drivers?

Cheers,
Ambro

I'm using Win2K and null's using XP. So I guess it's both. I've added the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory ManagementTrackLockedPages entry

Nate's been on holiday's as well. So I don't know is this is real, I certainly haven't seen or heard anything about it. He may be confusing the BDASample app which Shaun put up for DW BDA ??? It's at pre pre alpha as a developer testbed not really as a usable application.

There isn't a public BDA version of DW yet. As Joey said i've been on holidays but BionicDonkey started working on it. Should be available in the next few weeks.
