As I am sure a lot of you will know xbox media center has been released for windows.
I am currently using my compro t200 remote control with hip, I am unable to use the movement keys i.e up/down/left&right. I have been reading up on this matter and have found that its due to xbmc not running as an active window, I was wondering if anyone else have been able to overcome this problem. I found an earlier solution using simkey but was unable to make it work for me. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If you are not using Hip is keyboard emulation mode, you can set up these keys as "system-wide" keys (using the "Alternate Input" section of the preferences menu) then you should be able to set up buttons that will work while any window is displayed.

Thanks very much for your reply, much appreciated! This is the method I am currently using and sadly it does not work. It does work on things like firefox and explorer, just not on xbmc |

It's barely able to be called software. I think you're going to have a lot more problems with it than getting it working with HIP. |
