Ok, I don't know much about the differences in all the decoders available in the FusionHDTV app but there are a couple of things I've noticed..
1. Some decoders disable the Vista Aero interface. 2. Some decoders produce ugly horizontal lines on the HD channels, presumably from interlacing. The above 2 issues seem to relate to the "VMR Renderer" option.. but what I'd like to know is, is there any combination of decoder/VMR-setting that will NOT disable the Aero interface and still not produce the interlacing issue on HD channels? |
