Hi Guys,

I have released new build (v 1.5) of DNTV Live!

http://www.digitalnow.com.au/dntvlive/download.html

And DNTV Scheduler Pro (v 2.1.0)

http://www.digitalnow.com.au/DNTVscheduler.html

Those interested might like to download and try it.

Most of the changes are related to getting it to work better under x64 systems and better support for DAB+.
I will try and upload a full change-log as soon as I can.

Cheers

Renura

PS: One main additional feature (in DNTV Live!) that you guys might want to try is the ability to now record directly in mp4. Transcoding is done live so you need a fairly powerful CPU to use this.

as will I - especially if improves the 64 bit experience!

also - is there anyway to change the items in right-click menu that appears in TV mode? it is too long and not really logically set out...

and is there an 'auto-mute' option available when opening a PiP window?

and could the 'mute on minimise' be modified to 'mute on switch window' perhaps?

DNTV Live's biggest asset is the four TV screens at once, so the interface/commands for this should be optimised...

Quick question guys. Should the Quad bring up DAB tuners in DNTV Scheduler Pro?

I've installed both new versions & the DAB tuners only work in DNTV Live.

In order to get DNTV Scheduler Pro to recognize and support the DAB+ functionality, you need to install certain filters.
These can be best installed/registered by installing the DigitalTV application that can be downloaded from here

Thanks Renura. I've tried this & have also copied all of the .AX files contained in that package into the DNTV Scheduler Pro filters directory to no avail.

As long as the THMpgMux.ax and THCLAudEnc.ax are properly registered by the computer administrator then both the FM and DAB tuners of the Quad should be detected by DNTV Scheduler Pro when scanned in Select devices. As renura said, installing DigitalTV (being sure to right-click the setup.exe and clicking "Run as Administrator") should do the same as well as support recording from AV.

Do you have your username and serial number details completed in DNTV LIVE? Also are both DNTV LIVE and DNTV Scheduler Pro both installed in the same \Program Files and not one in \Program Files and the other in \Program Files (x86)?

cheers

Hi TheRat,

Yep, my serial is entered & the DAB device works ok in DNTV Live. I have tried the DigiTV software installed as Administrator - no good. I've manually registered all of the required filters using regsrv32.exe (as admin) still no good.

I'm sure I'll get it working one day !

In the "Select Devices" in DNTV Scheduler Pro. Do the DAB tuners show up there after a scan?

No, that's the main problem, Scheduler pro can't even find the devices. My last post shows the device scan log.

Try manually placing THMpgMux.ax and THCLAudEnc.ax from DigitalTV in the DNTV Scheduler Pro\Filters folder and then register both of them as Administrator. maybe even using something Radlight Manager being run as administrator, to correctly register both filters. Then reboot and then again go to Select Devices and do a new scan for devices.

BTW what versions of DNTV LIVE and DNTV Scheduler Pro are you using? Also what path are you installing each to?

cheers

Hi Rat,

I have manually placed both of those filters into the DNTV Scheduler Pro filters directory. Sched Pro & DNTV are both installed in the C:\Program Files directory. It's a 32 bit install of Windows 7.
I have manually registered both filters as admin with regsrv32.exe. The THMpgMux.ax one id definately working, as I can record in MGG via scheduler pro. I'll try the Radlight Manager thing when I get home.

Cheers

If it records in MPG then the mux filter is definitely registered. Just make sure the audio filter is registered as well then DAB should work.

Starting to look like a problem for bear to have a look at.

Try uninstalling DNTV Scheduler Pro, completely, including deleting the folder it was installed in, then re-install the latest DNTV Scheduler Pro version and try again. Remember to install and run everything as administrator.

These filters are required to record properly in .mpg so when it tries to use other dec/enc filters it will not connect them.
We have now added mp4 support but the detection still uses these dabby filters as default. I will look at changing this to detect the mp4 filters additionally in the next release shortly.

I have this same problem with a Dabby USB Receiver.
I have tried all of the suggested fixes ('As Administrator') but still no DAB tuner shows up in DNTV Scheduler Pro after reboot and rescan.

It can only be an issue with the required filter not being installed, try downloading the Vivaradio application from the download page and install it (as administrator of course), then install the latest version of Scheduler Pro.
