Hi Everyone,
I am currently running vista 32x and using dntv live dual digital pci card. I am trying to use WS for the first time and am having troubles. I have the EPG running fine from EPGStream.net and the problem is when a schedule is selected to record or obtain epg update, I get a windows error saying: DNTV Scheduler Pro Capture Application stopped working and was closed. The schedule logs says: Schedule Log: 24/05/09 22:17:49 : New Schedule added/edited 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Channel data loaded from Item : 7 Digital 24/05/09 22:17:49 : File Name : (2009-05-24 21-20) Castle 7 Digital.ts 24/05/09 22:17:49 : File Path : capture 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Device : 1 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Channel : 7 Digital 24/05/09 22:17:49 : CI Type : 0 24/05/09 22:17:49 : CA Type : 0 24/05/09 22:17:49 : CI Name : 24/05/09 22:17:49 : CA Name : 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Frequency : 177500 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Bandwidth : 7 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Prog Pid : 1328 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Pmt Pid : 768 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Video Pid : 769 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Audio Pid : 770 24/05/09 22:17:49 : Cap Type : 0 24/05/09 22:17:53 : No free capture device, will try again in 60 sec It looks like WS thinks the card is busy but its not in use at all. Have any of you got any ideas for me? I have dntv live, windows media centre working fine. Thanks |

Quite possible the MS ehrecvr.exe service has a lock on the dtv device and preventing it from being used. Disable the service and try again.

Quite possible the MS ehrecvr.exe service has a lock on the dtv device and preventing it from being used. Disable the service and try again. I tried it but it still doesn't work. I have a few tv applications installed, I might try uninstall all of them and see if that helps. I have noticed that my tv guide from epgStream runs on same port 8088 as WS. Could this be a problem? |
