Me too. After noticing all the blanks Sunday night, I've switched back to the ozTIVO guides again for the moment.

I'll try and get Calvi's multi-source to work when I get a chance smile.gif.

Guys, Sunday is 5 days away and you're jumping ship like a bunch fo rats. It's quite common for the guides to not get updated beyond the following sunday until the preceeding thursday or friday, but they always get done and it just means you can't plan your habitual obessive TV watching a week in advance for 3 days, so what?

Returning would be a better description I think ...smile.gif
It's no big deal, just have to change the channel numbers. ozTIVO was giving me the Illawarra channels anyway...

jrobbo's guides are fantastic, I was scheduling manually before that. Looking forward to them being up again and populated.

My problem was not next sunday, last sunday ... ie I saw nothing in the EPG in webscheduler for anything starting from 2 days ago!

Does everyone else have guide data for this week in melbourne, or is it just me that's having dramas?

Yep, I was having the same problem for Melbourne. No data since Sunday last week with jrobbo's guides.

I am assuming jrobbo must be having issues as he hasn't commented in a while. He is usually all over problems like this. Perhaps he has a real life....

Im loathe to mention it in fear of being calles a Rat blink.gif but I have switched to the Multiple Source XMLTV Downloader. It works a treat, but you have to have your oztivo account sorted out for it to work effectively if you want full descriptions.

Cheers

Hey, I didn't call anyone a rat, I did liken their behavior to that of a rat though, the distinction is subtle but important wink.gif

Sorry guys,

I haven't visited here for a little while, I was only come back here to check the old thread, but when that got closed, I didn't feel there was any need to come back. If you're having any problems, just send me an email and i'll see what I can do, and i'll try to pop by here every now and then.

Anyway, there has been a problem with the myxmltv guides that I haven't had a chance to fix yet, but the dwxmltv guides are still working fine, so try them out as an alternative.

Regards

John

I only closed it as it was getting to the point of being usless for finding any usable info in the 27 pages that were there, I though now we have a forum dedicated to EPG it would be a good idea to start some new threads.

If people want it opened again that is cool just say so.

Come back John .... we need your guides.

I'm currently using the dwxmltv version, which is okay, but a number of the program names are slightly different. Just had to update the program search rules. Still prefer the myxmltv version though.

Have Fun !!

Shane H.

I'm still using the dwxmltv guides biggrin.gif

Just wondering what's going to happen to the Hobart guide when Tassie hits daylight savings. Will the times be out by an hour or will they be adjusted? Or will they be all over the place due to the different channels doing different things?

Cheers

Hi Mcracken,

When does Tassie move to DLS? Let me know, and I will make sure that the guide gets updated

I think it's on Sunday unsure.gif

"Daylight saving in Tasmania begins at 2.00 am standard time on the first Sunday in October and ends at 2.00 am standard time on the last Sunday in March."

No probs, i'll make sure that the Tassie guide generated on Sunday has the correct timezone.

Hey jrobbo,
I just tried the myxmltv files to see if the time problem was fixed and it nearly is.

The time code of:
programme start="200609280100 +1000" stop="200609280130 +1000"

should be
programme start="20060928010000 +1000" stop="20060928013000 +1000"

It looks like WebScheduler needs the seconds for it to display properly in the EPG.

After I changed the times and reloaded it all worked out except for some ABC2 shows which start before 12.00.
Eg. Busy Buses should be 11.55 to 12.00, 5 minutes but instead the EPG says it goes for 12 hours and 5 minutes.

But all other channels (I dont know about SBS news) display perfectly and the info is better than before with the cast information showing up in the description now.
