Here's the places in the code you need to look to add recording.
Cool

And of course, make sure you're working from the trunk

I have the trunk ok, but do I have commit access though?

I have just had a quick look at the code and it should be reasonably easy to add the extra pids to the capture type 0 to make it playable with the TSFileSource.

@nate,

Is the recording side to DWII comming along shortly? if not, would it be a good idea to add some code to enable this version to work as stated above? I could use an old class module I had once used in the past.
Hi Bear,

From what you wrote I guess you must have a copy of the source for version 0.7.2.6. Would it be at all possible to have a copy of this code? I desperately need a version that works and in the mean time DWII can record and I can find enough time modify/redevelop DigiWatch Saver to be compatible with DWII, it could be good for me to have the version 0.7.2.6 "fixed"... It really does frustrate me that recorded files just won't play sad.gif

Thanks

Use ScanChannelsBDA.exe to scan your freq's including the bandwidth. Use windows/dos cut and paste the info into the channels.ini file.

Have you been able to get DW2-2.0.7.6 working?, if so you could get the channel info from the channels.xml file and edit the DW 0.7.2.6 channels.ini file with the info you need. It's also possible that ScanChannelsBDA & DW 0.7.2.6 may not recognise your BDA card, if this is the case then it may be pointless trying.

yes, i can get DW2-2076 working.
i'v seen the "channels Functions Example.ini" in DW0726
but the format is different from "channels.xml" in DW2
i don't know how to map "channels.xml" to "channels.ini"
so can you help me how to translate between "channels.ini" and "channels.xml"
Attached File  Channels.xml ( 6.23K ) Number of downloads: 31

and my card is "TwinhanDTV TWister 7049A"
is it possible to get the DW0726 work???

In the settings.ini file make sure you have the following set:-

QUOTE
# DigitalWatch - Settings.ini
#

CardNumber = 0
DVBInput = 5

BDATuner = DTV-DVB 7049A Digital Tuner
BDACapture = DTV-DVB 7049A Digital Capture

Note: The digital device name should be as per the driver name for TwinhanDTV TWister card.

Here is the modified channels.ini file as best I can read.
