Hi All,

I'm trying to set up WS to work over the internet.

Looking through some older posts, there is mention of a server.password and maybe even a server.username option in the WS setup page. Has this been removed/moved in the current version? I can't seem to find it.

I'm keen to enable WS over the net, but would also like some security with it.

Thanks,
Brett

Thanks cza, I tried it. I replaced user:password with the username and password i wanted to use (separated by a colon). I then restarted the service, but it doesn't ask for a username or password.

Any other ideas?

edit: ok fixed it. found the correct format in the wiki page. it'd be nice if the following was a pinned topic:
Webscheduler wiki/download links

regards,
Brett

You need to place it on another line, ie: below the other text.

Also make sure there is no " # " at the start of the line
