I'm just trying to sort out the multisource download scripts for Sydney and I noticed that the myxmltv sydney file has quite a different channel naming structure to the Melbourne file.

They're all sydney.nine.com.au or acb2.abc.gov.au etc, not ABC-VIC etc.

Is this correct, and will they stay this way?

Cheers
Richard

You mean there IS a canberra guide.
Every time recently I have tried getting the xmltvACT.zip file it said there was no such thing.
Is there another name now?

Consequently I am still using oztivo

Sorry guys,

The guides for yesterday failed. For some reason, the Regional SA guide failed which bought my whole script to a halt.

I've disabled the Regional SA guides until I can figure out what has gone wrong, but all oif the other guides are now OK, and will be updated by 7:30am this morning.

Enjoy!

Regards

John

Looks like its gone back to the original names, so I guess if your running BRP, use the channel name changer for a bit.

Yep, same here, same problem. It wasn't long ago that if there was a problem with jrobbo guides the thread would go berko, are people just using alternate grabbers now? or what?

Hi,

I'm using http://www.jrobbo.com/dwxmltv/xmltvBrisbane.zip

None of the brisbane guides will work for me. I just noticed that the xml guides from the OZTive site won;t work either so it may be a WS compatability issue.

Smegger,

I had a look at the Adelaide guide, and it looks fine to me, what is the problem you are having with it?

Guys, Sunday is 5 days away and you're jumping ship like a bunch fo rats. It's quite common for the guides to not get updated beyond the following sunday until the preceeding thursday or friday, but they always get done and it just means you can't plan your habitual obessive TV watching a week in advance for 3 days, so what?

WebScheduler is all about planning what you're *not* going to watch when it's on. Most of my data on the subject comes out weekly, so I much prefer having at least the next seven days available.

No probs at this stage, well there was once or twice the epg was wrong, doubt it was your fault though.

I should have been clearer, I was wondering if one guide was better than the other.

I've Just noticed there's no data past tonight for Adelaide. Using http://www.jrobbo.com/dwxmltv/xmltvAdelaide.zip for data.

What days is the guide data normally updated?

Same for the Brisbane and Gold Coast guides (dwxmltv ones), nothing after 5am Sunday. This is cutting things rather fine blink.gif

The myxmltv guides seem to be totally mussed up too, so I can't switch to them.
