Hi All,

I am looking for a solution to coexist the smartcard-based and cardless (software only based) Conditional Access. Reading some posts leaded me to SimulCrypt solution. By definition, SimulCrypt allows multiple CA types to be transmitted to the STBs. In my opinion, I understand that two key bases can be transmitted on two EMM stream with two different PIDs, so why do we need SimulCrypt. May anyone please explain and fix me if I was wrong?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
