For some reason the On Demand system that SBS use does not work with a chromebook. chromebooks use chrome OS. There's no issue with similar services such as ABC iView, TenPlay etc. nor with a PC, Android etc.
I have tried disabling all privacy blockers like Privacy Badger and cleared browser data and being logged in. Android can be added to recent chromebooks but not older ones like mine so I am stuck. I have contacted SBS and they actually said they had fixed it but they haven't and when I reported back they say they "are working on it" but cannot advise when it will be really fixed. If all the other broadcasters can do it I am puzzled why SBS is an exception. I am thinking something like they just need to add a plug-in or bit or similar. Anyone out there with a solution please? -------------------- Tuners: Leadtek DTV1000T, Leadtek DTV1000S, Nebula USB, Avermedia Twinstar A825 (dual tuner) USB.
