@Renura

Those drivers are the same.
http://www.digitalnow.com.au/TwinHanBDA1220.zip = http://www.digitalrise.biz/support/downloa...tion=file&id=92

Files exacly the same.
thbda.sys - 43520 bytes and amd64 - 57344 bytes
version 1.2.2.0.2005

Like i post before, not working good on DVb-S - twinhan1020a.
Tested on windows xp sp2 and windows xp 64.

Version 1.2.1.9 works good.
Regards.

Well that is very strange because I am told that there was nothing changed between 1.2.1.9 and 1.2.2.0 that would affect scannig or decoding.
I suggest you get in touch with TwinHan if you are having issues.

No, I don't think you understand. I am not TwinHan - there is really nothing I can do, other than ask, and I have asked.

Ok, my mistake. I thought Renura is writing new drivers for twinhan.

So i have question. Who is now writing those drivers? Peoples from twinham.com or digitalrise.biz ?

Where i can send request for drivers 1.2.1.9 compiled for amd64?

Renura write, there is no chance for fixed drivers 1.2.2.0, so i must contact with twinhan; but people from twinhan says "New drivers fo xp64 will by, when microsoft will officially deliver this system". How long we (users DVB-s) must wait?

Steel confused Entek.
Regards.

The TwinHan drivers are written by TwinHan. digitarize is a seller of TwinHan products, not a driver developer. TwinHan is right, even if you have the drivers there are no applications to take advantage of them, so it can wait? I suspect they have more important things to do right now.

I don't agre.

First.
I have several programmes which act in Windows xP64, but not correctly - problem from drivers 1.2.2.0.

Second.
I would like to write own application acting in environment xp64, but without good drivers it's not possible...

All what i see, the twinhan does not depend on users of cards DVB-S. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Embittered Entek.

I am realy sorry, there is not much I can do, I am not Twinhan. As I said get in touch with them, or the place where you purchased your device.

And it works pleasingly well: Once a 64-bit BDA driver is installed, you can continue to use 32-bit BDA applications on it, no modifications required. So you really only have to worry about getting a 64-bit BDA driver. Once that is taken care of, you can still use your favorite 32-bit BDA TV application.

Of course, 64-bit BDA TV applications would be even nicer, but there's a catch: 64-bit applications can only use 64-bit MPEG-2 decoders, and there are no such things available yet...

32 bit pragramms works with bda drivers in my 64 xp.
For example Mytheatre - http://www.dvbcore.com/

Ok I misread what you where saying, I though you meant 64 bit app's as well smile.gif

Guess you are just going to have to wait for 1.2.2.1 seeing as you represent 0.000000000000000001% of the market ph34r.gif

No, they have no beta section, you would have to contact them. I can try if you like? smile.gif What device exactly do you have?

That would be nice smile.gif The Device is a TwinhanDTV StarBox Model No: VP-7021
http://www.twinhan.com/product_satellite_5.asp

An SDK for their WDM Drivers would also be enough or at least an Interface for the Tuner Filter.

Well, it looks like there are no BDA drivers for this particular DVB-s device, yet. I asked about whether other information (eg SDK, tuner interface, etc) could be obtained - have not got any replies about that yet.

I will let you know if anything eventuates smile.gif
