When I quit the Boxee app (boxee.tv) no application seems to have focus, not even Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) so the remote isn't able to send any input via HIP and I can't bring up the Enhanced HIP Master Control to switch or launch apps.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in Boxee?

[Update: When I hover the mouse over the HIP tray icon it says Boxee still has focus.]

Some applications use multiple windows and it may be necessary to direct the input to a specific window. If you run Boxee, and then click on the "Application Properties" screen and select the "Show Classes" button which displays all of the available window classes. If there are multiple windows for Boxee, try selecting each one to see if you are successful.

If this does not work, then your only alternative is to set up commands as "System-Wide" so that they will work whatever window is in focus.

Try using the Quit Boxee command instead of close window, would be my guess.

Also, would you mind posting your config file for boxee. Would save some of us a lot of time if we can build on the basic.
