As mentioned in another thread, I've just started using v3.68.06
ftp://ftp.dvico.com/Products/FusionHDTV/d....68.06_Beta.exe

I've noticed this new feature, "User Video Decoder"...

Not sure if it was there in previous versions but I've been having good success with it.. currently using the Cyberlink decoder, quality is better and HD channels in particular have been much smoother on my PC.

Another thing I've noticed (again, may not be new), is that you can save/load the window's screen position.

This version has been stable for me so far but there seems to be a bug with the aspect ratio in that you can't change it from 16:9, not really an issue for me though.

No that's a new feature tho I always thought the one thing DVICO always had going for it was it had the best decoder. Interesting you think the Cyberlink decoder is better. What version of powerdvd are you using?

I'm using PowerDVD 8. Probably not much difference in the SD channels but on the HD ones the scaling and deinterlacing are noticeably better. And on my system at least (Vista, Pentium D 2.8ghz) the HD channels used to get a bit choppy at times, particularly with a lot of apps running.. but now its much better.
