Martin,
The problem seemed to be the drivers (Spectrum 1.6.0). I downloaded your update 726c and it all works fine now. Good job :-)

I have tried 726c with both DNTV-Live and DVICO BDA and could not get it to work.

It throws a could not connect pin error. Also because I have two Dvico cards I don't think it is able to tell them apart so a card number is still required if the BDA driver names are the same (or some way of telling them apart).

Let me know what I can try to help as NAN and DVR-MS recording would be very useful.

PS> while you are at it a DefaultStartVolume parameter would be VERY useful.

New version:

http://marty.id.au/dvb/DigitalWatch726d.zip

This fixes a memory leak problem with the EPG.

All seems to be working well with version d. Good work. The EPG data matches the program being watched and it is now the right way round (Now on top, Next below)

As a side note, I had to lock in the Cyberlink audio decoder in the settings.ini file - it works well for both MPG and AC3 audio. Previously, I was getting no audio at all with the Automatic setting.

I'm getting the same error as you, using the latest 729d. The normal DigitalWatch BDA works fine.

[edit]
On trying the latest update (DigitalWatch726d), i get a dialog box popping up with the error "Failed to load filter: StreamBufferSink error number 80040154, filter not registered".

DigitalWatchDBA V7.2.4 works perfectly.

Any ideas?

Works well with the spectrum drivers.
But when I tried it out with the Twinhan MCE drivers it worked at first then for some unknown reason I lost Channel 9. It tells me that there is 0 signal strength- I have MCE and I wanna be able to use the TV card with the Windows stuff as well as digitalwatch so I'm reluctant to switch back to spectrums drivers.
Otherwise it seemed to fix the problem I had with stuttering audio and video which made me happy.
Ill have another go and see if I can puzzle it out.

Looks like you don't have the stream buffer sink installed/registered.

I believe it is installed as part of XP SP1 or SP2

SBE.DLL existed, just wasnt registered for some reason... so that is now fixed.

Next problem...

On running now i get different errors:
1st Dialog - "ConnectPins: Failed to find output pin named Output1"
2nd Dialog - "Failed to connect Infinite Pin Tee Filter to BDA Demux"

Ive checked graphedit, "Infinite Pin Tee" does have "Output1".
"BDA MPEG-2 Demultiplexer" is also in the graph.

Any ideas?

Can you pleeease release the source?
I would try to fix these problems myself if i had access to it.

Sorry MWP, been quite busy.

The problem is my source is currently in the middle of testing a few things and is broken in a few bits.

So I need to get some time this weekend to clean it up then I will release it.

Works for me, but i do not get any now/next info. did on the previous veersion (724 with the little addition someone did to add n&n to the channel bar)

If i push E it just says now and next info not available. Also hitting R for recording errors "could not set filename"

Martin, is there any additions that may help with the "freeze frame-by-frame viewing" issue?

oh also, any setting to change the "length" your OSD is displayed?

Would it be possible to add support for BDA devices that only have a single driver instead of two? Also is Full TS recording still available in this version of DigitalWatch?

Champion_R:

You wouldn't happen to know how to build a complete graph with only a single driver by any chance? Can I just connect the tuner filter straight to the BDA Demux?

Full TS recording isn't enabled and from what I can tell was never enabled for the BDA builds.

Here is the graph for the AverMedia A800 which only uses a single driver.

Full TS recording is available in Nate's DW BDA builds because I've been using it for at least a year.
