Hi everyone,

I have just bought a Hauppauge 2200 card to use on a htpc. Really I know very little about setting up htpc's and dtv card so I'm learning as I go.

I had thought that the card would have an antenna out similar to a set top box, so I could watch TV even if my PC is not on, however, it seems I'm wrong as the only other plug on the back is for the FM antenna.

This my be a stupid question, but would connecting a cable from this plug to my TV antenna socket do the job, or will I need to buy an antenna splitter.

Regards

Sam

No, it will not. You will need a splitter or another antenna feed.
