Hello, I am trying to set up a dedicated tv rec machine with DVB Web Scheduler Pro (5.2.0.7) and use the Epg Stream software to download the XMLTV.xml file. It downloads it fine and creates the .xml however whenever I link DVB Web Scheduler to that file and then press "ReLoad Data" to get the EPG data I get this error -
"Loading Data Please Wait... About to load XMLTV Data from C:\ProgramData\epgStream.net\xmltvDownload\XMLTV.xml No Data Found in source, exiting reload." The .XML is there and if opened I can see all of the tv show infomation etc, so I cant see why this is happening, or I am trying to do it all wrong? Any ideas?? Thanks, Cameron |

Yep, its all set up fine, even tried copying the .xml to another dir and trying that still didn't work :S. Do you know of any other free programs that can give me tv guide times for Adelaide? http://xmltv.locost7.info/Adelaide/ |

Thanks, Cameron Cameron I use DVB TV Web Scheduler, and I have this exact same problem. I have tried several sources of .XML files, and they all seem to download and contain XML data. However, all sources that I have tried give the error message 'No Data Found in source, exiting reload' in DVB TV Web Scheduler when I select System/Data Source Settings/Guide Data Source Settings, and select File Source directory as you did. Is it possible that DVB TV Web Scheduler can't eliminate the headers in the .XML files, and thinks that there is no data found? What is the problem? Can anyone help? Wfeg |

Wfeg Cameron I have just answered my own question (and yours too!). The problem we ran into is that we are specifying BOTH the file directory AND the XML file. But System/Data Source Settings/Guide Data Source Settings simply asks for ONLY File Source directory. When I tried this, it worked OK! In your case, Cameron, just put in the .XML file directory: C:\ProgramData\epgStream.net\xmltvDownload and it should find the file XMLTV.xml. If you still don't see any EPG data in DVB TV Web Scheduler/Show EPG, then suggest you look at System/Channel Mapping, because it is possible (as it was in my case) that the Web Scheduler Channels and the EPG Data Channels are not mapped correctly with the new XML data. After correct Channel Mapping, I had no further problems. I can now go back and experiment with different XML data sources, to see which is the most convenient XML data source. Wfeg |
