Hi all,

I recently allocated a 2nd physical tuner to WS (I'm still on one of the later v3 versions) but I've noticed that when I have two recordings starting at the same time only part of one of the recordings is actually recorded. For example, last night I had Top Gear on SBS at 7.30 and Crime & Justice on Nine at 7.30 set to record. I got all of Crime & Justice but only the last half of Top Gear... since C&J is only 30 mins (well, that's 26 minutes of ads and 4 minutes of program) it looks like it is only using one tuner - yet I definately have two tuners assigned to be used by WS. If it's any help, one of the tuners is from my QuattroS and one from my older single tuner DNTV Live! card - but both cards work perfectly well on their own and together... I just can't get WS to use two tuners at the same time.

Anyone know what the problem could be here? Could it just be a setting I haven't turned on/off?

TIA...

Mike

Have you tried just doing a few tests to see if it works?

Check the logs to see if there is any good info there.

Well it's happened three times now so I'm pretty sure there is a problem!

I have to admit that I haven't looked at the logs as yet as I thought it might be something really obvious (like a setting or something)... any clues as to what might be going on though? (The logs are great but the problem is knowing what to look for - it's not always obvious when something is going wrong. Not complaining though as it's better to have the logs than not having them!)

Thanks to my Foxtel iQ I *will* be watching it later!

I'll look at the logs over the next day or two and do some more tests then post back if I still can't sort it out.
