Ok people i have a problem. Iwas usiung 2.8 drivers ok. they were working fine be it crashing. atleast i could use it.
How i upgraded to the FusionHDTV3.0.01 drivers for my FusionHDTV DVB-T T1 Plus card and as soon as i rebooted it dsabled my Nvidia drivers for my 6600 gt videocard. I have no advanced options nothing and i can't even slect my refresh rate. Its like the default drivers when you first install XP. This card is givimg me nothing but grief. If somone does not help me iam talking the pile of poop back and getting a refund. it can't be this hard to install it right ? Anyway if anyone can tell me a compatible Nvidia driver for it please let me know. I have NO IDEA why it would do somthing so stupid to me. If you can help lease do so. /ps as soon as i uninstalled the 3.0 drivers and rebooted my nvidia drivers came back. maybe that might eb a clue for you to help me. Thanks all. Ill try some beta drivers and see if i can get it going. |

Yes this has happened to me also; I thought it was just the new nvidea drivers but maybe not. I don't have the advanced settings anymore like the 'digital vibrance' etc
This could be to control the dvico output and maybe stop some of the errors some people were getting? My picture is great so I'm not complaining. |

You could try the nVidia beta drivers. They may be able to help you.

If you right-click on the desktop and choose 'Nvidia Display' you'll probably find it's all still there -- mine is.
I'm using the 71.89 drivers with a 19" Dell 1905 flat panel. Apart from a problem with audio volume in direct play ( recording volume is fine) v3.01 is very definitely the best setup I've had so far. |

Did you do a complete uninstall of the old Fusion software and reboot before upgrading?
Also be sure you choose the correct card model, (there are three internal cards) and that it installs for Australia. When it wants to update/replace the drivers, let it do so -- it will delete the existing set and install new ones. That's really all there was to it for me. My system: Gigabyte GA-7NNXP, Athlon 2800XP (Barton) o/c'd to 3200, 1024MB Corsair Twinx, Leadtek A6600 GT TDH AGP video, SATA RAID, Thermaltake 480w PSU, Dell 1905 LCD screen (on digital cable, not VGA), original dVico DVB T card, various other parts probably not relevant. OS: Windows XP Pro SP2, Nvidia video drivers 71.89, fusion software 3.01. |

Yeah went though all that right card uninstalled before reinstalling even rebooted befoore reinstalling.
The drivers even stoped me being able to boot into windows. Get an Hourglass that gos on forver but before that curupted graphics. If iunstall the drivers in safe mode and reboot everything is great I tried loging on as a different user and that seems to fix it if i ever can get to the logon screen. Iam going to to a full reformat and reinstall and see if that fixes it. Have not done one ina while so my system can get some benifit from it. First iam going to try the 2.80 drivers and see if they still work which they did. Just liked to crash when changing channels other than that it worked. Any idea how i can add the admin account as a account option won bootup i have xp pro and from what iam told i can. maybe that would fix the problem. Thanks. /ps Any more suggestions please let me know. QUOTE (Idle @ Jul 9 2005, 09:40 PM) Did you do a complete uninstall of the old Fusion software and reboot before upgrading?

I think you get it by turning off the welcome screen option (control panel->user accounts->change the way users log on and off)Otherwise, you could make sure that the user you normally use is a member of the administrators groups (control panel->administrative tools->computer management->Local Users and Groups->Users) Or as a third option, use an old version of TweakUI or X-Setup of some other tweak tool to change the default logon user to administrator. -------------------- |

Something I forgot to mention: When I uninstalled the Fusion software, I also separately uninstalled the software for the remote.
The new install put it back again -- I didn't have to install it separately. |
