With the new version 2.1.1.8 I can not make the HIP master control key the power button from the remote that comes with the vision plus card.

I know I used to be able to do this as my main machine is using an older version of HIP and has no problem doing this.

Is this normal or is it a bug?

Ok, I found the problem.

It looks like another app was stealing the key combination, I had installed WinDVD for testing and it installed a background app called "Intervideo WinCinema Manager" this app was capturing the Keycode of the power button on the remote.

Killing the background app fix the problem I was having.

I have been offline for a few days and so it was good to see you solved the problem (I wish all bug tracking was so easy).

Yeh I jumped the gun a bit :-) I worked it out once I started thinking
what could be stopping the power button from working. Well at least if
anyone else had this problem this post should help :-)
