Once upon a time there was a man called JRobbo.
He provided to us episode guide data, much to the chagrin of the TV stations.
It was neat and clean, up to date and tidy.
It was easy to access, ready and prepared for the thickest of us.
Life was good, webscheduler was full of good data.
Until one day he went over to the dark side. He was bribed and he followed.
From a philosophy of charity he fell to the one of profit.
Does he still use use the hated Ice?
Is he still with the dark side?
Will he ever return to save us from the horror that is OTA EPG?
That garbled, untimely, often wrong, always poor mess the stations deign to spew out.
Or do we have to wade through XML and it's mysteries, trying to learn this foreign and confounding gibberish?
At least a reply, old chum, for old times sake.

(No offence to uryan, who I know does good stuff. I'm just too lazy to set it up for Adelaide.)

I've used the Oztivo data in the past, which is why I'm using the OTA currently.
JRobbo's was just so much better.

i use this for my EPG but its missing the new channels here in adelaide. 7mate gem etc. (i still appreciate that someone has gone to the effort to set them up so someone like me can easily use them, much respect)

i looked at dvbguide but it needs to have .bat files written to scan all the channels then other stuff done so tv scheduler will accept it and im buggered if i can find any step by steps that i understand and seem to work.

The the directory you unzipped dvbguide to....

d.bat
dvbguide -b7 -c%1 -o%1.xml

s.bat
d 205500
d 212500
d 536500
d 557375
d 578500

Set up s.bat to run via what ever schedule you desire. Configure tv scheduler to look at the directory you have dvbguide in, reload the guide, map the channels at that's about it. Obviously you'd enter your own area's centre frequencies in s.bat smile.gif

Looking for an alternative to TV Scheduler Pro? Take a look at dvscheduler for Windows or tvheadend for linux.
