The first time I start DNTV Live! and go into HDTV mode I get:

"Failed to create Tuner 1 source video decorder"

I switch the decoder from Cyberlink DVD Video Decoder (PowerDVD 6) to DNTV Live! or Cyberlink DTV
and select a channel I get:

"Failed to create Tuner 1 source audio decorder"

I switch to "DNTV Live!"

Then DNTV works. Now switching back to Cyberlink DVD Video/Audio Decoders work, even when I get out of HDTV mode and come back in.

My set up:
Generic AMD3000
768Mb RAM
DNTV Live card and s/w 1.1.8
Windows XP

A previsous version fo the s/w was working fine until I upgraded.

Any clues?

Very strange, it sounds like the decoder registration does not stick?? try 1.1.9 it has a reset deafults button, that might help.

I am still getting similar problem when I have DNTLive in my Start up procedure--see my earlier unanswered post.
Same thing in 1.1.8 and 1.1.9. However in 1.1.8 when I accept message as OK I can then restart DNTLive and it works. Using 1.1.9 in same procedure results in computer hanging after I accept warning.
I still want to be able to start computer in the DNTLive application.
Does any one have a successful start up using DNTLive?

I am not sure what you are trying to do, but the OS needs to load/verify the various filters/drivers before the application can use them, if you launch DNTV Live! on startup before that has happend it will not work. There is nothing that we can do about that.

OK, I figured out that was the problem as there are other programs still starting after the error message comes up.
Does anyone know how to autostart DNTlive in XP so that it will be the last program to start?
