Be nice to me, I am new. Group: New Members Posts: 2 Joined: 23-November 11 Member No.: 14,693 Card: DNTV Live Dual Hybrid PCIe S2 |
Received my DNTV Dual Hybrid (7164) today, which was added to a HTPC that had the DNTV Dual Hybrid (7162). The new cards analog tuner is displaying blue and red patterns randomly over the entire screen, freezing and losing audio on digital channels. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, both from the cd and the website. I have swapped the positions of the cards. I have removed the old card. Nothing has fixed it.
When both cards are in the pc, media center detects 4 analog and 4 digital tuners, however if I try to record, it only lets me record 2 digital channels at one time. The pc is running windows 7 home premium with 4gb of ram. I had no problems with the other card until recently when the analog tuners starting to play up, and since I am in a location that does not currently have all of the digital channel and still rely on analog, I purchased this new card to be able to record and watch analog. I have also tried different connections to the antenna, including via a booster and straight to the pc. The picture from the antenna, if plugged directly into the tv is fine, however when connected to the htpc I am experiencing these problems. Does anyone have any suggesstions? Cheers. |

You could have a compatibility issue or a faulty card, suggest you re-flash your MB BIOS and re-install the component drivers (audio card, video card, etc), or try the card in another PC, if possible, and if that does not fix the issue, then contact support to arrange for the card to be examined. -------------------- Renura Enterprises Pty Ltd - Owner of DigitalNow and MediaNow- Importers, Distributors and Retailers of Digital TV and other Digital Multimedia Solutions

Thanks for all those who assisted with this query. I have received a replacement card and it is working fine. The process was well handled with great communication. Cheers. |
