Yep, would be wise.

Actually, which sources would you recommend using instead? If I exclude tvguide.org (which I assume is oztivo) there's really only epgscan left and these are not very comprehensive.

Cheers.

Yes, you are right, will look into this.

Oztivo Data is not good,

JC.

Thanks. Looks like all sbs channels are affected now.

Maybe excluding oztivo for now is recommended.

No, I'll get them added after the 26th when 9 finishes its changes.

Thanks mate.

By the way, I started seeing something weird with sbs2. All show titles have been replaced with category names! All descriptions etc are fine but all the shows for this channel are entitled, Movie, Documentary, Drama etc etc.

Anyone else?

Well, just one more then smile.gif

There's a couple new channels starting in Melbourne at least. Chan 9HD (Nov 26) and SBS Food Network (today). Will it be much effort to get these added please?

Cheers.

Hi Calvi.

Firstly, thanks for still supporting this. After what happened to ICETV I'm revisiting your EPG downloader and I must say, it's pretty much perfect! I just have a couple of questions please (I'm using the default config - for Melbourne):-

1/ How do I get the "previously-shown" tag set for when a show is a repeat? in my EPG, I see lots of occurrences of this tag but never with anything in it (it's always empty). What I'm looking for is either:

"<previously-shown>Y</previously-shown>" or "<previously-shown>N</previously-shown>" ... or something similar. Any clues please?

2/ The only thing I miss about the ICE guide is the inclusion of the keyword "Movie:" in the program title (for movies of course). Is there any way of achieving something similar?

Thanks.

Yes, thanks so much for the continual support of this guide.

BTW, will there be any CH31 data available in the near future (or is it already there?).

Cheers.

Hey guys, it seems channel 31 (community tv) have started broadcasting in digital (Melbourne and Brisbane at least so far). Wondering if there's any plans to include their guide data any time soon?

More info:

There doesn't seem to be any independent programming on 7HD at the moment. I couldn't find any further information about it; maybe they are hoping no one will notice.

Hi guys. I'm confused... the Melbourne guide doesn't appear to have any 7HD or 9HD listings. I see this at the top of the XML:

<display-name>Seven HD</display-name>

<display-name>Nine HD</display-name>

but as I said, no listings for them. I thought at first it could be because there is no independant programming for these channels but I'm sure there is at certain times, right?

Thanks.

Hi Calvi, does this guide incorporate some level of your new overlap and gap removal feature for safexmltv? I assumed it did coz things appeared a lot better but today, I see some pretty crazy alignment issues in Webscheduler/TVSP (kb interface). I re-read your last post and I think you may have only been talking about safexmltv? If so, and given that you're probably using safexmltv to produce this guide anyway, could your default overlap and gap removal settings be applied here?

No stress though, just curious.

Thanks again.

No Problem,

Go in guide now, Named Nine Go.

Also added overlap and gap removal to safexmltv.

Thanks a million mate. That's terrific!

The overlap and gap removal seems to be working brilliantly. Thanks again!! I haven't tried with TVSP pro yet, but with WS, I still get the warning (if the message is enabled in the options) but the guide itself continues to look neat and tidy (especially using the kb interface).

Your efforts in this space are greatly appreciated here.

Cheers.

If there is an overlap in the source data then WS will display the times shifted.

If you use the epg from my version http://mail.lewis.com.au/public/webschedul...1.0.0.76.JC.zip (epg-calvi.xsl, based on uryans layers.xsl) then the times will always line up.

Calvi, are you able to point me to the code that handles this please? I'm not sure what I'm looking for. The reason being is that I'd like to include it in the Keyboard Interface based themes (if possible).

Cheers.

For those people who aren't aware, there's no plans in the near future to support the KB Interface in the latest versions of TVScheduler Pro largely due to an apparent lack of public interest and available testers for this feature. I was shattered to hear this and I'm sure I won't be the only one. For me, the KB Interface was the primary reason for adopting Webscheduler all those years back and in my view, it provides the perfect "all-in-one" PVR solution for the HTPC.

I understand the dilemma and the issues faced by the devs on this but I'll be sorry to see it go and will not be moving off the last version of Webscheduler in the foreseeable future.

Perhaps if more people express an interest in the KB Interface we'll see it included and further developed once again. At least that's my hope. As I've said previously, if given the chance, I would have happily paid for this feature separately.

Hi. Why don't the latest versions of the software include the KB Interfaces? I realise that the old themes still work now but I'm a bit concerned that they may not in the future. I'm sure I'm not alone but the KB interface is the ONLY way I use the program from my Media Centers and mobile devices (externally).

Cheers.

Sweet! I especially like your keyboard themes so thanks for this.

Question: why are the the standard keyboard interfaces (simple and default) no longer included in the new builds? I hope TV Scheduler Pro's not heading down the path of not supporting a keyboard interface. This is the primary way I use the system.

Cheers.

Thanks Calvi.

Just one more question. I mostly use WS's keyboard interface on my HTPC and every now and then, I notice that the program times don't align properly in the epg grid against the timeslots up the top. I can send you a screen shot if required. Most of the time it's ok but was wondering if there's anything that can be done to correct the issue when it does occur.

Cheers.

Hi there. I'm having some problems with the DVRMStoMPEG module. Basically it's not working for HD DVR-MS files (with Ac3 Audio). The conversion gets to a certain point and then stalls with the following output:

CODE
Profile = dvrmstompg
Output DVR-MS file as one MPEG stream
Conversion Started: D:\RecordedTV\Processed\(2009-02-22) 60 Minutes.dvr-ms to D:\RecordedTV\Processed\(2009-02-22) 60 Minutes.mpg
0%
.07%
.11%
.18%
.23%
.23%
.23%
.23%
.23%
.23%
.23%
.23%
... ...etc etc etc

I'm using version 1.0.9.5 of DVRMSToolbox. I tried converting the file manually via the GUI and I get the same result. So I updated DVRMSToolbox to version 1.2.1.6. Attempted the same conversion and I got a new error message saying that the "Convert DVR-MS file to MPEG" profile is depricated and to use the ffmpeg conversion profile instead.

Well this certainly seems to work but it's soooo slow. Previously, to convert a DVR-MS file to MPEG would take seconds, it's now taking up to 30 minutes for the same file!!! I guess ffmpeg is re-encoding the file rather than simply stripping off the DVR-MS wrapper?? I'm not sure.

Anyone else having dramas with this and if so, is there a solution?

Thanks in advance.
