I have been using a SD set top box for about 18 months now and I have never had any problems with reception aport from during storms. After all that time i wanted to watch HDTV so I bought the DNTV Live card. During the day the reception on my set top box is fine but through the card the reception is so low on all the channels except for ABC and SBS and I cant watch them until about 9pm at night and then the shoot up to the high 80's and it is all good. Does anybody have any idea as to how I can get reception through this card as me SD set top box has no problem with reception all day long

Just buy a powered / amplified splitter / distribution amp http://www.gme.net.au/matv/splitter_amps.php
I use a Kingray SA124R which I bought from Electrocraft, there is also a 2 way version of it the SA122 which is generally available from Dick Smith Electronics stores. |
