When im in the fusionhdtv program i view shows always as 4:3 pan and scan. Then when i record and open it, it's shown as pan and scan. Then when i go to encode it with "dvbmenc" .. its not showing as the pan and scan aspect ratio, its showing as the widescreen with the stupid box on the left, right , top and bottom. I find that really stupid because your watching something in a box so i want it to be compressed like XviD, and also 4:3 pan and scan. How do i do this?

Pan & Scan mode is only for playback/viewing. Recordings will always be in the original form they are broadcast.
In DVBMenc, under crop settings choose "4:3 Center Cut" and it should do the same thing. |
